Rachel Dove is a multidisciplinary artist working with ceramics and textiles based in Long Island, New York. Rachel’s art practice combines functional and sculptural techniques with ancient to contemporary firing methods and resist dyeing techniques.

Rachel received her BFA from the Columbus College of Art & Design and her MFA from the University of Tennessee. In 2007 she attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. Her work has been exhibited in juried and invitational shows regionally and nationally. Beyond her artistic pursuits, Rachel shares her knowledge as a university instructor, leads workshops in dyeing textiles, and teaches ceramics classes at local community art centers.
