I’m delighted to announce that one of my wood fired ceramic works was selected for inclusion in the exhibition Wood Soda Salt, at The University of Wyoming.
Wood Soda Salt, an exhibition celebrating the predictable-unpredictability of atmospheric firings. Atmospheric firing has a deep and rich tradition in ceramics and Wood - Soda - Salt is an opportunity to showcase traditional firings and contemporary making. This exhibition will celebrate the diversity of atmospheric firings and the newly built wood kiln and soda kiln at the University of Wyoming.
The exhibition will be juried by Kait Arndt, Assistant Professor of Art in Ceramics at the University of Wyoming.
The exhibition will run September 3rd, 2024 until November 29th.
